Folks, I know many of you are concerned, as I am, about the homeless encampments we’ve been seen around Northeast Philly. My team has been working closely with local police, fellow legislators and city and state agencies to find solutions. Too frequently, the process of cleaning up these encampments and connecting people with support is delayed because they’re on private property. We can’t sit back and wait for someone else to solve the problems caused by neglected properties and absentee landlords.
